The Noelanders Trophy XIV show in Belgium proved to be a yet another stunning array of fabulous trees, a real inspiration to any bonsai enthusiast. It just gets better and better each year.
Our weekend started off with a treacherous journey to Norfolk to pick up Bryan Albright and his pots. Bryan had no transport so he asked us if we could help him out, ‘no problem’ we thought!
Once we had crammed all the pots and Bryan in the van we then set off to Belgium in the snow!! Fortunately we managed to stay ahead of the really bad weather and arrived at the venue without any mishaps. We then set up the stands and went off to the hotels for a well-earned rest!
The show started early on the Saturday and was very busy all day, not giving us any time for a look around the exhibition, but happily we did sell plenty of pots.
Managed to get a quick look around the show on Sunday morning before the doors opened to the public and took a few pictures of the trees, this exhibition has always been of the best standard and this one did not disappoint, the quality of the trees and the way they are displayed is a real credit not only to the owners of the trees but also to all the team responsible for putting on such a marvellous event, thanks must go out to every one involved.
Just a photos of the exhibition and some of the winning Trees.
Bryan and ourselves had a very successful weekend and thankfully went home with a much lighter van. After dropping Bryan off we got home late on the Monday night. Hard work and very tiring but a great weekend over all, we look forward to next year.
Just got to build some stock now for the Swindon Winter Image show on the 24th February, hope to see you there.
